Trev Tham – A Successful YouTuber from Singapore



Author and YouTube star from Singapore, Trev Tham. In addition to his work as a co-creator on Trevmonki, he is a frequent contributor to JianHao Tan's playlist. As of September 2020, he has over 219,000 subscribers on YouTube and over 77,000 followers on Instagram.

As for Trevor Tham's education, he went to both Zhangde Elementary and Outram High. He studied molecular biotechnology at Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 2011 to 2014, getting a diploma from the School of Life Sciences & Chemical Technology.

Trevor Tham's girlfriend was a dance teacher named Samantha Ashley Tay. They dated for four years before parting up in September 2020. At Ngee Ann Polytechnic's hip-hop dance club, New Revolving Age (NRA), where she was two years his senior, Trevor and Samantha initially met. The Trevmonki YouTube channel is operated by Trevor Tham (Creative Director) of Studiomonki, a film production firm that produces commercials and short films for various customers. He is a partner and the head of creative production at Titan Digital Media.

In September 2020, JianHao Tan's Trevmonki channel on Titan Digital Media had over 48 million views on YouTube. It was in October of 2013 when Trevor Tham and Leonard Lau launched their Trevmonki YouTube channel. Trevmonki's uploads include various genres, including comedic skits, web series, short films, and travel vlogs. In addition to helming and starring in the channel's videos, Trevor also serves as its creative director. When this article was published in September 2020, Trevor appeared in the music video with the most views for the song "New Relationship VS Old Relationship."

While serving as the Creative Director of Studiomonki, Trevor has directed and produced several short films for broadcast television and online video-sharing platforms like YouTube. In April 2019, he oversaw the debut of the Chinese-language romantic comedy "The Encounter" on Mediacorp Channel U and meWATCH.
